The Western States Hostage Negotiators' Association (WSHNA) is excited to be traveling to Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon for our 39^th Annual Training Seminar. Our 2025 Training Seminar will also feature a full day Crisis Negotiation Team Challenge on Sunday, April 27, 2025. There is a separate free registration link for the HNT Challenge. Our Challenge Event continues to be a big success and a quality training experience. Space is limited, so gather your team and enter now or you can register as an observer. Note: You must be a registered seminar attendee to participate in the competition.

Our Training Seminar will be at the Sunriver Great Hall & the Sunriver Resort. Nearby condos & homes are available for a complete team experience. Seminar Check-In & Hospitality April 27^th, Training Seminar April 28, 29th, & 30th. Hospitality & social events to be announced.

Your Training Seminar registration fee includes your 2025/2026 Membership (May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026)

The host committee from the Central Oregon Emergency Response Team is hoping you will come early and/or stay late and enjoy all the fun that Central Oregon has to offer. Of course, keeping with WSHNA standards, the Seminar will provide first-rate presenters to increase your crisis negotiation skills & team building events in the evening.

Are lunches provided? Yes. Lunches are included for Monday, April 28^th & Tuesday, April 29^th.

Is the last day, Wednesday, April 30th, a full day of class? No. The morning will be a presentation and final WSHNA business until 1:00 PM. If requested, space will be made available for networking in the afternoon.

Are registrations transferrable? Yes. We understand that our profession has scheduling challenges (court, special assignments, unplanned events, unusual occurrences, etc.). Thus, registrations are transferrable provided you notify WSHNA via Bruce Wind at Bruce Wind. Planning for an event this size requires accurate numbers. Cancellations will not be accepted after February 28, 2025. However, registrations are transferrable.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No.

What is the nearest airport? Redmond (RDM) Airport which is 33 Miles from Sunriver Resort. RDM is served by several major airlines and most rental car companies.

Is there free parking? Yes.
